The Board of Supreme Audit functions involve all the sectors dealing with the public funds whether in income or expenditure fields. Our bodies outreach all the governorates and sectors throughout Iraq.
We always look forward to provide the public with the statements and information of their interest on timely basis. Further, we shall keep the site updated with our latest publications of the control reports and financial statements and accounts, aiming at spreading optimism among people and keeping them informed through disseminating the information and clarifying the facts as evaluated by the controller even when the outcomes seem disappointing. Accordingly, the controller is characterized by his commitment, neutral and authentic attitude in clarifying the facts literally in order to reach a public opinion and collective realization to handle misconducts and overcome any resulting weaknesses. The secrecy and privacy of statements resulted in concealing a lot of misconducts which were due to be solved and to set forth ahead.
We believe, in the Board of Supreme Audit, that the national, economic as well as the individual security of citizens will be subjected to threats if the financial and administrative corruption becomes prevalent. Therefore, we are determined, God willing, relying on our experience, to reach the highest levels of well performance and conduct of the public funds in Iraq in such a way that ensures the safety and welfare of our coming generations and precious country as well.
